C Seed Unveils Weather-Resistant N1 Outdoor $190,000+ Luxury TV

The gist of it: I want one of these. But seriously, this is the kind of things that makes you wonder what the ceiling is on the price of a TV.

C Seed, a luxury TV manufacturer based in Vienna that’s mostly covered by Invidis in Germany, has extended its impressive line-up with the outdoor version of its N1 TV. Built to withstand the elements, the outdoor N1 model boasts an IP65 rating, indicating its ability to endure conditions like rain or snow without incurring damage. The TV comes equipped with temperature and wind sensors that can detect harsh weather conditions. Available in 165 or 137 inch screen sizes, the outdoor N1 carries over the same advanced features of the standard model, including 16-bit color processing, 4,000 nits of brightness, and a pixel pitch of 1.9 or 1.6. Remarkably, the outdoor N1 only takes 60 seconds to open up to three meters, with the display fully unfolding in an additional 25 seconds.

The C Seed N1 is an upscale, state-of-the-art foldable television that comes in three sizes: 165, 137, and 103 inches. Unlike its predecessor, the N1 has a metal base from which it unfolds, rather than sinking into the floor. The N1 utilizes a 4K MicroLED screen with HDR10+ support, ensuring high-definition resolution, brighter highlights, deeper darks, and an expanded color palette. Further enhancing the visual experience is a special physical surface coating that enables vivid colors and pristine blacks with minimal glare.

Another key feature is C Seed’s patented Adaptive Gap Calibration, which eliminates the edges between screen panels to provide a seamless viewing experience. Moreover, the N1 includes an integrated speaker system with two 100-watt full-range speakers. Notably, the screen can be rotated 180 degrees to the left or right, adjusting to different viewing scenarios. The N1, constructed from aerospace aluminum in a Titanium Matt Metallic color, offers an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, which is beneficial for the folding kinetics and image quality. The N1 costs upwards of $190,000, which is less expensive than the preceding M1 model that was priced at $400,000.
