What They Say
Broadcom, which had already settled a dispute with the European Commission (Commission accepts Broadcom commitments for set-top chips), has now reached a similar deal with the US FTC. The company denied that it had committed any offence.
“While we disagree that our actions violated the law and disagree with the FTC’s characterizations of our business, we look forward to putting this matter behind us. The FTC investigation into our other businesses has been closed without action.”
What We Think
