Witsview, quoted in Digitimes, has said that BOE Vision-Electronic Technology, the TV assembly part of the Chinese panel maker, is looking to build 12 million ODM TVs this year, compared to 6.5 million in 2016. One factor in this is that the company is expected to win business from Vizio, which has used Amtran, Foxconn, TPV and Wistron in the past.
