BOE Steps Up to Innolux

BOE was responsible for almost a third of the 23.6″ TV panels shipped in the first half of 2015, say supply chain sources. The company was responsible for around 1 million of the 3.2 million units shipped – many of which came from Innolux. BOE produced 400,000 such panels in May and expects to increase that figure in June. The company produces the panels at a G8.5 plant, but may swap some capacity to 41.6″ to compete in the 40″ – 43″ segment.
