What They Say
The Elec recently reported that BOE had possibly fallen out of favour with Apple by modifying some aspect of OLEDs intended for iPhones (BOE almost made no iPhone OLED panels since February). BOE reacted by saying that it wouldn’t comment on rumours, but added
“BOE has always been committed to customer first, quality first, and has always maintained close cooperation with global customers. At present, the company’s annual target in the OLED field has not changed, and the development of related businesses is progressing in an orderly manner.”
What We Think
Only two firms really know the answer to this issue, but having reported the first rumour, we thought it appropriate to publish this comment. (BR)
