BOE has filed a statement disclosing that its new G6 LTPS fab in Chengdu, China (BOE Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony) will be used to produce flexible OLEDs. The company is working with the Chengdu Municipal Government (which is an investor) and says that the fab will have two lines, both with a monthly capacity of 24,000 substrates. Mass production is expected to begin in 2017.
