There are rumblings of a new DLP projector from BenQ, known as the W3000. According to rumours from Italy, the projector will be launched in late 2015 or early 2016.

We hear that the unit will feature a 1DLP chipset and six-segment colour wheel. Brightness will be 1,800 lumens, with a 1.6x zoom. There is also talk of ISFccc calibration, a frame interpolation algorithm and an MHL-HDMI port.
List price will apparently be €1,585 ex VAT.
