The R9 Fury X GPU from AMD (AMD Has Big Plans for UltraHD) has been officially launched. Competing with high-end Nvidia products, the card features a factory-fitted liquid cooling system and is based on AMD’s new 28nm process. It is being sold for $650.

Origin PC has announced that Nvidia‘s G-Sync technology is now available on its Eon17-X and Eon15-X gaming laptops. These products were released earlier in the year, but the anti-tearing technology has only just been added.

More information has been released about ViewSonic‘s PJD7830HDL and PJD7835HD DLP projectors (New Component Boosts ViewSonic Colour Accuracy), although full spec sheets are still missing. These models share 1920 x 1080 resolution; horizontal and vertical keystone correction; up to 10,000 hours of lamp life; 10W/16W speakers; and MHL-HDMI, HDMI, VGA and USB ports. The PJD7830HDL features a 1.1 – 1.5:1 throw ratio and 3,200 – 3,500 lumens of brightness.
