BenQ America has a new 1920 x 1200 DLP projector that produces 3,500 Ansi lumens of output with 20,000:1 contrast and is intended for projection in small to medium spaces. Sound output is 28dB in eco mode (and 31dB in normal mode) and the unit uses a 240W lamp, which is rated for lifetimes of 3,000 to 7,500 hours depending on the mode used. Features include MDL and dual HDMI inputs as well as a range of analogue video and graphics inputs including VGA.
Weight is 7.28lbs (3.3kg) and the size is 331×114.4×246.2mm (excluding the feet). Image size is from 30″ to 300″ (76cm to 7.6 metres) with a 1.14-1.49 throw ratio. Wi-fi operation is supported via an optional QCast dongle.
The US retail price is $1,199 and the unit is available now.
