BenQ has done a licensing deal with Sony to sell a range of ‘Zowie’ monitors in 24″ and 27″ sizes that are designed to work with the Sony PlayStation 4 for eSports and Game Playing. There are five models, the RL2455, RL2455T, RL2460, RL2755 and RL2755T, all with FullHD, VGA, DVI and dual HDMI ports. They all have 250 cd/m² of output and 1,000:1 contrast from TN panels with 1ms GtG response, There are dual 2W speakers. Features include ‘Black eQualiser’.
The different versions are differentiated by height adjustment on some models (RL2755T, RL2460, RL2455T) and a ‘head to head’ combat set up on the RL2460 which allows dual players on the same PlayStation to have individual displays to ensure complete synchronsiation in timing.
