BenQ Launches Cross-Platform Interactive Flat Panel Series for the Workplace

Leading display manufacturer BenQ launches the Duoboard, a platform-agnostic all-in-oneInteractive Flat Panel (IFP) display series designed for the modern meeting room. Creating aninteractive meeting room experience for any device, this flexible display is perfect for corporateenvironments.

Available in two sizes, 65-inch (CP6501K) and 86-inch (CP8601K) with 4K resolution, the Duoboardfeatures BenQ’s new Collaboration+ suite of unique functions, incorporated to maximise efficiency, productivity and teamwork.

On a singular DuoBoard, the screen can be partitioned to enable the use of multiple applicationsside-by-side via the DuoWindow feature. Further to this, those who frequently use differentoperating systems, including Android, iOS, macOS, or Windows, can now run these platformssimultaneously on the screen using Duo OS.

Positioning two displays together, the DuoBoards become one continuous workspace. Built-insensors connect the screens providing businesses with an infinite whiteboard space, withoutconnecting wires.

Conway Lee, President of BenQ Corporation, comments:

DuoBoard combines all the technologies you would normally require in a meeting environment. Itconveniently takes the place of your current display, whiteboard, and video conferencing setup. With just one device, you can foster creativity, engagement, and synergy in unprecedented ways.

The 20-point multi-touch capability allows for the smooth interaction of multiple users at once. BenQ’s EZWrite cloud-based whiteboarding solution enables remote participants to easily joinmeetings and add their ideas to the board from their mobile devices.

In addition, DuoBoard has an integrated camera with a noise-reducing and echo-cancellingmicrophone array for high-quality video conferencing. Users can start meetings with just one touchthrough the BenQ Launcher.

The display features a USB passthrough enabling touch functionality and camera activation, allowingvideo calls to be hosted from desktop accounts. This removes the need to learn new behaviours andminimises time spent connecting to a room’s system.

DuoBoard also offers hassle-free display management and corporate security. BenQ’s DeviceManagement Solution (DMS) lets administrators remotely control all their BenQ displays from onedevice, while the Account Management System (AMS) grants users access through the account-based NFC login.
