BBC R&D Takes Home IBC Prize for HDR Paper

Andrew Cotton and Tim Borer, of BBC R&D, will be presented with the IBC 2015 Conference Prize next month, for their paper, ‘A display-independent high dynamic range television system’. The paper will be given in the IBC Conference, starting at 14:00 on the 11th September. Cotton and Borer look at how HDR video can be delivered and displayed, while remaining compatible with conventional systems. The awards ceremony will take place at 18:30 on the 13th September.
