Barco, a global leader in visualization and collaboration solutions, is proud to announce that independent business sustainability ratings platform EcoVadis has awarded the company with a Gold rating. This good result reflects Barco’s step-up and commitment to sustainable business conduct, and values the framework, roadmap and initiatives in place.
EcoVadis is a trusted collaborative platform that assesses companies’ commitment to sustainable business. It is mainly requested by companies that want to perform an evidence-based evaluation of key partners in the areas of human rights, labor practices, fair business, environmental stewardship and responsible purchasing. Only in this way can they really assess their own footprint.
Ingram Micro, a Barco distribution partner, requested Barco to enter the EcoVadis assessment as part of their responsible purchasing policy. The resulting Gold rating clearly shows the value that Barco attributes to sustainability and places us in the top 5% of respondents.
Following the “Prime” status in ISS-oekom’s Sustainability Rating earlier this year, this is another recognition of Barco’s commitment to sustainability.
Confirming Barco’s step-up in sustainability
