Barco has a new version of its Unisee video wall monitor. The OverView KVD5521B has no cooling fans and has Sense X technology for automatic brightness and colour calibration. DisplayPort 1.2 with loopthrough is supported to allow the display UltraHD content can be shown on four displays. The unit is fanless for higher reliability and lifetime of the backlight is quoted at 60,000 hours.
Service has been improved; the input boards and power supplies can be removed from the display to be easily maintained or replaced, Barco said The use of LCD Connect makes it much easier to control the video wall, further enhancing user-friendliness. The system can also be used with an external power supply where that is preferred.
The output of this version is 500 cd/m² and the bezel is wider than the original version, at 3.5mm
The unit will be available from April.

This product is nearer to conventional video wall specifications and can be mounted on standard mounts. It is also described as more budget friendly, although Barco didn’t release a price (BR)
