Bang & Olufsen has launched its new AR Experience app for iOS, allowing customers to visualise what the company’s products will look like in their homes. Users select a product, scan their surroundings with their device’s camera and choose the spot they want to place it in. They can also move the product around or try out different colours and design options, as well as being able to capture and share with friends or a Bang & Olufsen dealer.
The app is optimised for iPads with ARKit, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7, iPhone 8 and iPhone X and is available now on the App Store. An Android version of the app is under development and scheduled for release in 2019.
