Quoting data from Omdia, AV Magazine said that it expects average LED video wall pitch to drop to 2.1mm by 2026. In 2019, the average was 3.1mm.
The firm also said that the share of LCD panels in Chinese projects will drop from 68.9% in 2019 to 30% by 2026. Omdia also reports that 1.2mm LED video walls are becoming more common in command and control rooms, with 0.8mm pixel pitch products also emerging.
What We Think
We reported the headline for this story a couple of weeks ago, but this article added a nice chart that shows that China is adopting small pixel pitches much more aggressively than other regions. The chart shows that the rate of drop in average pitch is slowing after dropping quickly from 2019 to 2021. (BR)
