Asustek Smartphone Shipments to Double

Following the recent launch of the high-end ZenFone AR and ZenFone 3 Zoom at CES, Asustek plans to increase its smartphone shipments to between 35 and 40 million a year, which would give it 3% of the global market, according to CEO Jerry Shen. This would be almost double its 2016 shipments of around 20 million according to sources in Taiwan.
