An augmented reality version of popular mobile game Angry Birds is heading to Magic Leap One. Franchise owner Rovio is developing Angry Birds: FPS with AR studio Resolution Games.
Not only can users move around the room to alter their perspective of the stage so they can attempt different strategies and boost their star rating, hidden secrets within levels can be discovered by users if they explore the environment more thoroughly — by getting down on the ground, for instance.
Pieces of the destructible environment will also interact with real-world objects. For instance, a boulder will roll across the surface of a table before falling to the ground below.
Rovio has confirmed that Angry Birds: FPS will launch before the Magic Leap developer conference on October 9th.
