AR dog goggles could help protect Soldiers

What They Say

The US army has a research programme to make AR glasses for dogs so that they can get commands while their handlers remain hidden. At the moment, the handlers use hand signals or laser pointers to direct the dog. Using the glasses, the handler gets to the see what the dog can. At the moment it is a wired system, but there are plans to make it wireless.

The glasses are based on current protective glasses used for military dogs.

What We Think

Once developed, we could see this kind of technology finding other serious uses such as emergency aid. And trivial ones….. (BR)
