What They Say
Patently Apple noted that Apple has applied for a patent for glasses that can detect the identity of the user and automatically correct for vision defects associated with the user. The glasses would also have a way to hide content that the wearer can see in an AR use case, so that outside viewers cannot see the information being shown, possibly by blurring the external view of the content.
What We Think
Spectacles are very personal, so I’m not convinced of the value of an autocorrecting system. The privacy issue is an interesting idea. (BR)
