Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14 lineup is not expected to have a “mini” version

What They Say

9to5Mac reported that it has heard rumours that the next Apple iPhone, the iPhone 14, will not have a ‘mini’ version and will only be available in 6.1″ and 6.7″ versions, which may be slightly taller than the iPhone 13. That would be to accommodate a ‘notch + pill’ design. The 5.4″ iPhone mini would be discontinued.

The blog also said that all the phones would have 6GB of RAM and that the A15 Bionic chip could be used in the entry level devices, with new processors in the high end.

What We Think

DSCC reported that production of displays for the iPhone Mini were down almost a year ago and so it’s almost a surprise that the 13 mini was launched. Of course, Apple does still sell older models and still sells the iPhone 12 mini. (BR)
