AOC will once again be present at this year’s gamescom with selected gaming monitor models. From 25? 240 Hz models boasting FreeSync or G-SYNC for competitive gamers, up to immersive 35? curved models at 21:9 aspect ratio in 1080p or 1440p resolution, AOC’s AGON line-up offers a suitable monitor for any gamers’ needs. With the new additions AOC underlines its target to further strengthen its position in the global gaming monitor market.
This year, editors can enjoy a sneak preview of the soon to be launched new members of the AGON family: Firstly,a curved display with a 0.5 millisecond response time, 165 Hz refresh rate, 1440p resolution and HDR technology. Secondly, a 27? model with 4K UHD resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and HDR technology.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) is the latest improvement in display technologies and can produce images with extremely high contrast levels, nearing the perception of the human eye. Newest, upcoming gaming consoles and new GPUs fully support HDR alongside with 4K support. With these new monitors, editors can also have the first glimpse of the AGON 3 series with a completely new design.
