Another analyst has added their two cents to the discussion around the possibility that Apple may release an LCD version of the iPhone X sometime next year. (Apple to Release Three New iPhones in 2018?)
Jun Zhang, an analyst with Rosenblatt Securities, claims that the price of the iPhone X, primarily due to its Super AMOLED screen, is still a hurdle for some consumers, and backed up KGI Securities’ Ming-Chi Kuo’s prediction that Apple will combat this with an all-screen LCD version with a lower price tag in 2018.
