Alphabet Inc., the holding company of Google, posted Q3 net profits of $6.7 billion, up from $5.1 billion, on turnover which rose 24% to $27.8 billion from $22.5 billion. For the nine months there were profits of $15.7 billion, an increase from $14.1 billion, on revenue which went up to $78.5 billion from $64.2 billion. The company said that it was seeing momentum from years of investment.
