Acer has been reported in Taiwan as winning an order for digital signage devices in Europe, although it was not clear from the reports that this order for 1,000 devices from a European supermarket was for displays (less likely) or media players (more likely). Acer does have large format displays in its portfolio, but sales have been in the dozens per quarter range in Europe, so far. (BR)
