Toms Hardware has had a good look at an Acer Predator X25 360Hz monitor and described it as “The ultimate display for no-holds-barred gaming systems”. The 24.5″ FullHD IPS monitor is certified as meeting the DisplayHDR 400 labelling and is claimed to have GTG response time of 0.3ms. The review found that black to white transition is 3ms (which is typical of IPS and why makers quote GTG). Input lag (black to white) is 20ms, which is marginally slower than the other 360Hz monitors that the site had tested.

What We Think

Strangely, the review had an ‘Against’ mark for ‘Average motion blur quality’, while saying in its summary that ‘Contrast is merely average, but its motion clarity and control response are truly on another level’. I’m assuming there is a typo in the table. (BR)
