C|Net reported a summary of rumours about the Google Pixel Fold smartphone. However, as we reported in November, Google has at least postponed or may have cancelled the unit completely. (Has Google Dropped the Pixel Fold?)
Other reports suggest that the firm may use the ‘Notebook’ name for the device to differentiate it from Samsung’s Galaxy Fold series.
What We Think
There is an expectation that prices of foldables may come down significantly later this year to drive more demand. I wonder whether Google is waiting for the time when it can offer a more competitive price? (BR)
