Apple iPhone 13 mini Display review: Very close to its larger sibling

What They Say

Testing house, DXOMark published a review of the iPhone 13 mini display and decided that while the OLED is smaller at 5.4″, it still has a performance that is comparable to the larger devices in the series.

  • The smaller phone had excellent readability, ‘pleasant’ HDR 10 video with correct brightness and contrast and very good control of artefacts but
  • Had brightness too low in low-light, had a strong yellow cast in most conditions and could have been smoother when browsing the web or playing games

What We Think

One of the writers on LDM & MDM when we published them really liked smaller phones and often complained that other features were also sacrificed along with size. He would be pleased to see that the compromises that Apple has made are so limited. (BR)
