Electrochromic display supplier, Ynvisible, has supplied displays to Innoscentia which is developing date labels on food packages. The firm said that Innoscentia is also using Ynvisible’s R&D services and has developed materials that combine with the Ynvisible display, enabling real-time quality monitoring of food.
The development is still at the prototype stage.

Of course, this kind of label has to be incredibly cheap, but the potential volume market is vast. (BR)
