Healthtechinsider reported that a hacker has developed a pair of glasses that can signal directions for wayfinding using coloured LEDs in glasses frames. He designed the frames and has released the 3D CAD files.
What We Think
Well, it’s only around a three pixel display, but this shows an interesting idea. It’s often said that people are safer when travelling if they seem to be locals that know their way around. I have certainly, over the years, felt somewhat vulnerable as I tried to follow a GPS track on the way to a hotel or AirBNB. This kind of simple device could be very useful as it saves the user walking along while staring down at their screen. (BR)
