Sony has begun shipping its flagship Master Series AF9/A9F OLED TV, which is described as a “reference-quality” TV set, thanks in no small part to its on-board auto-calibration features from CalMAN.
The AF9/A9F is available in 55″ and 65″ sizes and supports Ultra HD resolution, as well as HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision HDR formats. It supports HDCP 2.3 for all four of its HDMI inputs and features Sony’s Picture Processor X1 Ultimate image processing technology, alongside a range of post-processing features, including 4K X-Reality Pro, precision colour mapping, pixel contrast booster and Motionflow XR.
It is also compatible with Dolby Digital, Digital Plus, Pulse and AC-4 sound formats, alongside DTS Digital Surround and S-Force Front Surround simulated surround sound.
The 55″ model retails at $3,499, while the 65″ version costs $4,599.
