TF1, the official French broadcaster of the World Cup 2018, will broadcast the competition’s 28 best matches in Ultra HD on the Freebox mini 4K. TF1 4K is included in the company’s package for fibre subscribers who have the mini 4K Player.
The first match to be broadcast in UHD will be the competition’s opening game on June 14th. TF1 4K will also be broadcasting three Formula 1 Grand Prix races in UHD. Freebox was created by Free, a subsidiary of Iliad Group.
