Samsung is expected to reveal a new wireless VR/AR headset at this year’s IFA trade show in Berlin, Germany, which takes place in September. The device is believed to be a standalone headset which won’t require a smartphone or any other external hardware, to rival Apple’s forthcoming offering. (Apple Developing AR/VR Headset with 8K Resolution Per Eye?) and the Lenovo Mirage, Oculus Go and HTC Vive Focus.
Samsung’s Windows Mixed Reality headset was released in November 2017.
