HTC has announced that its standalone VR headset, the Vive Focus, will launch globally later this year, following its launch in China at the end of 2017. The company claims that Vive Focus is the first standalone headset with six-degrees-of-freedom to be released commercially and showed it off at the Mobile World Congress earlier this month. (HTC’s Emphasis is on Vive Products). The company also recently announced that the Vive Pro will launch in April, priced at $799, while the price of its predecessor will drop to $499.
