Magic Leap has announced its first sports partnership with the NBA and Turner, to develop a new NBA app for its forthcoming AR headset, Magic Leap One. The app will feature archived games and highlights.
Magic Leap was first announced back in 2010 and its development has been shrouded in mystery ever since. The company recently intimated that an official release date for the Creator Edition of Magic Leap One will be announced in the spring. (Magic Leap Shows … Something)
Pricing information hasn’t yet been announced, though it has been suggested that the device will retail for around the same cost as a premium smartphone.
