iFixit has examined the iPhone X, practically down to each individual screw, and scored it a 6 out of 10 for repairability.
That’s a better score than it sounds, judging it against today’s smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which only scored 4.
The iFixit team were particularly impressed by the repairability of the battery and display, and were pleasantly surprised to find that a damaged display can be replaced without removing the Face ID biometric hardware.
