Seoul Semiconductor and Toshiba Materials are working together to create LEDs that have light quality that is like sunlight and will be sold under the SunLike brand. The devices will be used for lighting, initially in high end products and later in general lighting, and will use Seoul LEDs with phosphor compounds using Toshiba Materials’ TRI-R technology.
The LEDs have lower levels of blue than other devices.
