Inkjet printing was a hot topic at Display Week, with Kateeva claiming that it is qualifying equipment and with BOE showing a sample of an inkjet deposited electro-emissive QD display. Hwever, we would remind you that it is more than 10 years since we first printed an article where an executive was quoted as saying that they were ‘close to a breakthrough in inkjet deposition’. It has proved a hard technology to develop. (BR)
