Fitbit has a new fitness tracker, the Fitbit Alta HR that is claimed to be the slimmest wrist-based continuous heart tracker with battery life of seven days. The tracker offers standard fitness functions such as sleep and activity tracking. The device is said to be 25% slimmer than the Fitbit Charge 2. Fitbit highlighted the range of sleep-related data in its release.
The display is an OLED device with a tap function and battery life is ‘up to seven days’, from five on other models.
The device will sell for $150 from April with special edition and other versions are available with alternate wrist bands.
