Samsung will introduce a new line of monitors in 27″ and 31.5″ sizes and featuring curved displays with quantum dot backlights to provide wider colour gamuts. The CH711 has 2560 x 1440 resolution with 1800R curvature. There is a three sided ‘boundless’ design, with cables hidden in the neck of the stand.
There will be a 28″ UH750 monitor that is claimed to have a 1ms response time and combines QD technology with UltraHD resolution and a narrow bezel design. There will be 23.8″ and 27″ SH850 models that feature three-side ‘bezel-less’ designs and include DisplayPort daisy-chain mode as well as height adjustment.
Analyst Comment
Samsung will also show the CFG70 and CF791 QD monitors which have 1500R curvature, were launched at IFA. There were few details released of the new monitors, so we’ll update after the show. (BR)
