Samsung has introduced the DM65E-BC, a 65″ capacitive touch display with integrated touch, rather than using an overlay as previously used (DME-BR). MagicIWB S2 is pre-installed on the SoC as an option. The display has FullHD resolution and has 380 cd/m² of brightness with contrast rated at 4,000:1. The response time is 6ms, and the colour gamut is 72% (presumably of NTSC), with 2% haze from the panel and 15% from the touch glass. There are dual integrated speakers and front DVI-D, HDMI and VGA inputs as well as two HDMIs on the rear and DisplayPort. There is an integrated USB hub and the display features an ambient light sensor. The display supports 802.11n Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct.
The MagicIWB S2 software needs an external PC for full functionality. As well as the white board software, there is MagicInfo Player S3 integrated which runs on the internal Cortex-A9 1GHz processor with 1.5GB of memory and 8GB of storage. Pricing in Germany is €6,000.
