Satellite Today has reported that SpaceVR has raised cash to build Overview-1; a satellite that will be launched in June 2016 on a scheduled mission ‘CRS-12 mission’. Overview-1 will have 360-degree cameras and 4K image sensors to capture moments happening on planet earth and the content can be viewed on any VR device. The company is selling subscriptions to allow viewing on VR devices.
