Chris Chinnock of Insight Media kicked off the Display Summit which he has been running alongside Infocomm for fifteen years, although it now runs independently of the Infocomm organisation. Previously, the event was known as the Projection Summit, but the increased importance of flat panels and other direct technologies such as LED has meant that it has been re-branded, although there was a strong representation of delegates interested in projectors, probably because of the history of the event.
