Optoma’s newest DLP projector, the WU416, is a compact model designed for mid-size spaces such as meeting rooms, retail and churches. It has a high (20,000:1) contrast ratio, a 1.6x zoom, vertical lens shift (+/-13°) and vertical keystone correction (+/-40°) for easier installation.
Crestron, Extron, AMX, PJ-Link and Telnet LAN control systems are supported. The projector has an AV Mute mode, which can be used to blank the screen and direct attention back to the presenter. The bundled remote, with USB mouse control and built-in laser pointer, will also assist with this.
Auto power off and energy saving functions are built in, as well as a Quick Resume feature; this enables the projector to be turned on instantly in case of accidental shut-down.
Display resolution is 1920 x 1200. The 260W lamp, lasting 3,000 – 7,000 hours, will produce up to 4,200 lumens of brightness. With a 1.4-2.24:1 throw ratio, the WU416 can project a 25″ – 305″ image from 1.3m – 9.2m. It will also show 10-bit colour.
HDMI 1.4a (x2, one with MHL), VGA (doubles as output), composite, USB-A-, USB-B, RS232, RJ45 inputs are featured.
