The Samsung Odyssey Neo Geo 57″ MiniLED Gaming Monitor Gets a Delivery Date

Samsung showcased two gaming monitors at Gamescom 2023: the Odyssey Neo G9 57” and the 2023 Odyssey Ark 55”. Both were on display at the event but are not expected to ship to customers until October, 2023. Samsung had originally shown the Neo G9 at CES. There had also been a 49″ version of the product in 2022. The Odyssey Neo G9 57” even won a CES 2023 Best of Innovation Award.

The monitor is a essentially two displays stitched together, what Samsung calls a dual ultra-high-definition (DUHD) screen with a 1000R curvature. It’s a MiniLED display with VESA Display HDR 1000, and peak brightness of 1000 nits. The monitor can deliver 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms gray-to-gray response time. It includes AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and supports DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and has its own USB hub to boot.

The 2023 Odyssey Ark 55” features a 1000R curved gaming screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms GTG response time. It introduces Samsung Multi View, allowing users to view up to 4 inputs simultaneously and split-screen capabilities. It also has its own KVM switch feature for multitasking across multiple devices.

The Odyssey Neo G9 57” will be available for purchase in October for $2,499.99, while the 2023 Odyssey Ark 55” will also be available in October.
