OVAB Europe has released the results of its Digital Signage Business Climate Index surveys in various regions of Europe, for the July/August period. The DBCI tracks sentiment in the digital signage industry.
France is Europe’s third-largest digital signage market in Europe. Its DBCI stood at 50.05 points in July/August: a 5.15 point rise from the May/June period.
More than 90% of polled companies said that their current business situation was ‘good’ or ‘satisfactory’. 57.9% expected their business to improve over the next six months and 39.5% expected it to stay the same.
While mobile integration is a buzzword in today’s signage market, fewer than 10% of digital signage solutions or campaigns were actively using mobile devices last year. This is forecast to change over 2016/2017. 45.9% of respondents expected ‘less than 10%’ of campaigns to use mobile integration. 33.3% expected the figure to be 10%, with the remainder split between expectations of 20%, 30% and above 30%.
