The name of Huawei’s new tablet, the T1 10″, is slightly misleading, as it isn’t actually a 10″ (or even 10.1″) model at all – the display is 9.6″. According to Techradar, which asked Huawei for clarification, the company’s response was, ‘[T]he Huawei T1 has a 10″ screen and offers a 9.6 inch IPS LCD display’. So that’s clear, then…
The tablet has an aluminium body: 8.3mm thick, weighing 433g. It also features a 4,800mAh battery, lasting for around 570 hours on standby. The (unnamed) 1.2GHz quad-core processor, with 1GB of RAM, runs Android 4.4. Storage is 16GB.
As well as Wi-Fi, the T1 has 4G connectivity, as well as 5MP (rear) and 2MP (front) cameras. It is available now, for £165 ($260) ex VAT.
