Matrox has its own secure miniDisplayport outputs
Matrox was showing its video wall controllers and Maevex distributors. We had a look at the C420, which is a new low-profile quad output PCI Express graphics card. The firm told us that the card is the fastest fanless card on the market. The card has unusual connectors – Matrox adds extra thumbscrew fixings for its Mini DisplayPort outputs. The card is based on an AMD chip and can support up to four 2560 x 1600 outputs.
The C680 is a 6 output version and two of these can be synchronised in a single PC to allow the support of up to 12 displays in display wall configurations. Features including bezel compensation. The 6 output version fully supports DisplayPort 1.2.
