ZTE Preps Mid-Range AMOLED Handset

ZTE is preparing to launch a new phone, the Z11, under the Nubia sub-brand in China. The phone will be launched on the 28th June, and specifications have been revealed through a TENAA filing. It will have a 5.5″ AMOLED display (1920 x 1080), right in the middle of the Z11 Mini (5″) and Z11 Max (6″), which were launched in May. A 1.5GHz octa-core processor, speculated to be the Snapdragon 652, will run the unit. It has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a micro-SD slot. The phone has dual SIM slots, a 2,900mAh battery and may have touch-sensitive buttons, rather than a volume rocker. USB-C is used as the physical connector.
