It’s been a while since ZTE released a new handset in its budget Zmax brand, but the company has returned to form with a 6″ phablet for $100.
Featuring some interesting functionality for its price, the Zmax Pro has a fingerprint sensor and an octa-core (1.5GHz + 1GHz) Snapdragon 617 CPU, with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The large (3,400mAh) battery is compatible with Quick Charge and is powered through the phablet’s USB-C port.
An IPS panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution is used on the display, and protected by Gorilla Glass 3. 13MP (rear, with PDAF) and 5MP (front) cameras are installed.
The Zmax Pro can be pre-ordered now and is expected to be launched this month.
